Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms") strictly regulate the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the service provider and the user regarding the use of BanaToon (hereinafter "Service").

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms aim to regulate the terms and conditions of use of the AI-based image conversion service provided by BanaToon, and the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the user and the service provider.

Article 2 (Definition of Terms)

  • "Service": All AI image conversion and related functions provided by BanaToon
  • "User": A person who accesses the Service and uses the Service in accordance with these Terms
  • "Content": Images, videos, etc. uploaded by the user or created through the Service

Article 3 (Provision of Service)

The Service provides the following functions:

  • AI function to convert photos and videos into K-Webtoon style
  • Gallery function to save and manage converted images
  • Function to share converted results on SNS
  • Other additional functions defined by the Service

Article 4 (Service Use)

The Service can be used without separate membership registration, and the user must comply with the following:

  • Do not upload content that infringes on the rights of others, such as copyright and portrait rights
  • Do not upload illegal or harmful content
  • Do not interfere with the normal operation of the Service
  • Do not use the Service for commercial purposes without permission

Article 5 (Rights of Content)

1. Original Content

Copyright of the original images and videos uploaded by the user belongs to the original right holder. The user must have legal rights to the content.

2. Converted Results

Converted results created through the Service can be freely used by the user for personal, non-commercial purposes. However, a separate license may be required for commercial use.

3. AI Training

The Service does not use content uploaded by users for AI model training.

Article 6 (Disclaimer)

  • Due to the nature of AI technology, the Service does not guarantee the quality of conversion results.
  • We are not responsible for damages caused by service interruptions, data loss, etc.
  • Problems caused by the user's illegal use of the Service are the user's own responsibility.
  • Third-party content (including advertisements) is provided under the responsibility of the respective provider.

Article 7 (Change and Suspension of Service)

The Service may change or suspend all or part of the Service according to operational and technical needs. In this case, we will notify in advance within the possible range.

Article 8 (Dispute Resolution)

In the event of a dispute regarding the use of the Service, both parties shall consult in good faith for a smooth resolution. If no agreement is reached, it shall be resolved in the competent court in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.

Article 9 (Change of Terms)

These Terms may be modified according to changes in relevant laws and service policies. Changed terms take effect through announcements within the Service.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please stop using the Service.
