BanaToon (hereinafter "Service") values users' personal information and complies with relevant laws such as the 「Personal Information Protection Act」. This Privacy Policy guides the processing of personal information collected in connection with the use of the Service.

1. Collected Personal Information

The Service collects only the minimum information necessary to provide seamless service.

• Automatically collected info: Anonymous User ID (UUID), access logs, browser info
• User provided info: Uploaded images or videos (used only for conversion purposes)
• Cookies: Session information for service convenience

2. Purpose of Use of Personal Information

• Provide AI-based image conversion service
• Save and manage conversion results through gallery function
• Service quality improvement and error analysis
• Provide personalized ads (Google AdSense, etc.)

3. Retention and Destruction of Personal Information

Conversion results are stored in the gallery and are destroyed when the user deletes them or deactivates the account.

• Original image/video: Immediately deleted after conversion (not stored on server)
• Converted image: Kept until user deletes
• Service logs: Automatically deleted after keeping for up to 90 days

4. Provision to Third Parties and Entrustment

In principle, the Service does not provide users' personal information to third parties. However, exceptions are made in the following cases:

• When the user agrees in advance
• When required by law
• Entrustment of work within the scope necessary for service provision (cloud hosting, AI processing, etc.)

5. Cookies and Advertising

The Service may display advertisements through Google AdSense, and Google may use cookies in this process.
